Filament Foundry ("the App") is developed to help users and businesses track 3D printing filament usage, manage spool inventory, and generate usage reports. This privacy policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when using the App.

Account Information: When you create a personal or business account, we collect your email address through Firebase Authentication.
Business Account Data: If you register a business account, we may collect a business name and any additional profile information you provide.
App Data: Any information you enter into the App — including filament spool details, print job records, weights, and usage reports — is stored securely in Firebase Firestore.
Usage Data: Firebase may collect non-identifying information such as device type, operating system, crash logs, and app performance metrics to help improve stability.

2. How We Use Information

To create and manage your personal or business account.
To allow you to access your filament and print job data across devices.
To generate usage reports based on the data you enter.
To improve app stability and performance.

3. Business Accounts

Business accounts are subject to the same data protections as personal accounts. Data entered under a business account — including inventory records and usage reports — is accessible only to the account holder and is not shared with or visible to other users or third parties.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal or business information. We only share data with trusted third-party services (Firebase) that provide hosting, authentication, and database functionality.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information using Firebase's built-in security rules and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
